This Fall our Farmingville community had a ball at our Literacy Night Event!
It was an "all hands on deck" affair. The book fair was open, there was a visiting Author/Illustrator and pop-up lab spaces set up throughout the school. There was a makers space lab hosted by Mrs. Valleca our amazing Library Media Specialist, Music Lab activities created by our Music Teacher extraordinaire Dr. Marrinan and an Art Lab...in the Art Room of course.
The ART LAB hosted 4 stations, 3 of which were set up with materials to create an illustration inspired by some of Mrs, Penney's favorite children's book selections.
