To kick off the year in
Mrs. Penney’s art class students school wide are celebrating “International Dot
Day” which takes place on September 15th “ish” by creating artwork
inspired by author and illustrator Peter H. Reynolds “creatrilogy” which
includes “the dot” , “ish” and “Sky Color”. In Art students have
been creating artwork inspired by the book trilogy. At open house please feel
free to visit Mrs. Penney in room 24 and take part in the Farmingville
community “dot” gallery by creating your own mini “dot” to be included in the
display and preview the books which she will have available in her classroom. Images coming soon!
